Sola Hevi/Duty Constant Voltage Transformers

Sola/Hevi-Duty offers a broad range of transformers to meet many applications. These dry-type transformers are offered encapsulated, ventilated or non-ventilated, 600 Volt Class, isolation type, single and three phase, through 500 kVA. Indoor and outdoor models are available.

General Purpose Transformers can be located close to the load. No vaults are required for installation and no long, expensive feeder lines are needed. Common applications include inductive and resistive loads such as motors, lighting and heating. Hevi-Duty general purpose transformers are manufactured to meet applicable industry standards, are listed in accordance with UL 506 and UL 1561 specifications and are classified as isolation transformers. New Sola SCP-X Power Supply

Sola Hevi/Duty (SOLA HD) has introduced a new SCP-X field power supply that delivers 24Vdc power from an IP67-compliant package resistant to dust, water and other contaminants. Designed as a stand-alone unit that can be mounted directly to a machine, the SCP-X reduces end-user costs by eliminating the need for a separate cabinet and simplifying I/O device cabling.

The metal outer case withstands physical abuse while efficiently dissipating heat to deliver consistent power from -40 to +60°C. This compact, stand-alone unit can be mounted directly to the load eliminating the need for protective enclosures. This innovative mounting option drives down costs and provides machine builders and system integrators increased flexibility during the design process.

Direct machine mounting also decreases the amount of cabling between the power supply and consuming devices on the machine. Reduced cabling means lower capital costs and also allows for easier modification if system requirements change in the future.
