Pump Engineering Offers Extended 3M Pump Range

3M's MS series of magnetically driven, seal-less pumps has been extended. The range now includes the CT MAG-MS, a peripheral multistage metallic mag-drive pump. Available from Pump Engineering, the MS series will include six options - providing flows up to 24mc/h at heads up to 1,000m. These pumps are suitable for applications involving aggressive, hard-to-handle fluids and offer the benefits of mag-drive pumping.

This includes long-life, reliable performance, low maintenance and, as a result of having no seals, the potential for leaks and emissions is eliminated. CT MAG-MS pumps are suited to applications where liquids have a maximum viscosity up to 200cSt, maximum system pressure of 50 bar (standard) and 150 bar (for the high-pressure version), although higher pressure options are available on request. They can operate within a temperature range of -120 to 350C.

Electric motors are available from 0.55 to 75kW. 3M mag-drive pumps have applications including: transferring acids, alkalis, hydrocarbons, heat transfer oils, liquid gases, and toxic and explosive chemicals in industrial and chemical industries. They are also suitable for pumping low-viscosity surfactants, acids and CIP chemicals in pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. In the food and drink industries they are suitable for handling CIP chemicals, such as sodium hydroxide, nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide, and pumping water-treatment chemicals.

BNZ Oil-Water Cooler Has Extended Cooling Surface

The BNZ series oil-water cooler from JBJ Techniques features aluminium fins and a rigid tube stack. The company said advantages include an extended cooling surface, compact design, low pressure loss, integrated test ports, cooling capacity up to 500kW flow rate up to 850l/min.

The standard BNZ series offers four shells with available lengths of up to 2,200mm. Newcool also offers tailor-made solutions to the most arduous applications and according to customer specification. BNZ coolers are suitable for all industrial and marine environments.

Gearbox Range Extended

Following last year's distribution agreement with Chiaravalli Trasmissioni, Transdev is now able to offer form-fit equivalents of Motorvario and Bonfiglioli worm gearboxes and geared motors at competitive prices. The CHM (Motorvario) and CHB (Bonfiglioli) series provide industry standard interchangeability covering a comprehensive range of aluminium and cast iron CNC machined housings with RAL 9022 powder coated epoxy protective finish.

With power ratings from 90W to 7.5kW, they are available in a wide choice of foot, flange and face mounting options with selectable motor position, single or double shafts, connection flanges for multiple mounting and a range of accessories including pre-stage gear reducers and torque arms.

The CHM range covers nine models with ratios from 7.5:1 to 100:1 and single or double solid input shafts on 25 to 130mm centre distances.

Nominal torque ratings are up to 14nm for the smallest frame model unit and are up to 650nm for the largest.

The CHB range covers four models with ratios from 7:1 to 100:1 with centre distances from 30 to 62.17mm with torque ratings to 110nm.

The modular design of both CHM and CHB versions includes standard B5 and B14 flanges with mounting surfaces on all faces allowing a wide choice of flange and foot mounting positions.

For use with the gearboxes, Transdev also supply a range of four-pole, three-phase motors with continuous service ratings to IEC 34-1, closed design IP55 housings and Eff2 efficiency levels.

With both B5 and B14 flanges and IEC power ratings to 7.5kW, accessories include forced ventilation kits.

Two-pole and six-pole windings and higher efficiency versions are also available.
