Z-Communications has announced an RoHS-compliant fixed-frequency synthesizer model SFS6520A-LF in C-band. The SFS6520A-LF is a single-frequency synthesizer that operates at 6,520MHz. This synthesizer features a typical phase noise of -90dBc/Hz at 10KHz offset and typical sideband spurs of -65dBc.
The SFS6520A-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 6dBm with a VCO voltage supply of 5V DC while drawing 40mA (typical) and a phase locked loop voltage of 3V DC while drawing 11mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40C to 80C.
This fixed-frequency synthesizer features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -20dBc and comes in Z-Comm's industry-standard PLL-V12N package measuring 0.6in x 0.6in x 0.13in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The SFS6520A-LF is suitable for automated surface mount assembly and reflow. SFS6520A-LF also suits satellite communication and test and measurement applications that require low phase noise performance.
