GAO RFID Asset Tracking is offering an active radio-frequency identification (RFID) handheld guard patrol tour terminal. The GAO221006 is designed to scan RFID tags and store their ID codes in its journal-based memory.This portable, energy-efficient RFID reader is used in personnel patrolling, police patrolling, remote-equipment inspection or maintenance, goods delivery and transportation management.
The terminal is a miniature battery-powered Mifare/Felica UID RFID reader with an LCD screen and a built-in real-time clock for data-collection applications. The data can be stored in the reader's memory, with a time stamp for a later download to computer.
