Key features include M:1.25 (typical) and greater than 90 per cent circularity. All wavelength models offer RMS noise of less than 0.1 per cent from 10Hz to 10MHz and 0.2 per cent for 488nm. Beam dimensions are 1.3mm diameter for all wavelengths and the pointing stability is less than 5 urad/C. The Stradus range also offers power stability of less than 0.5 per cent for 24hrs.
All Stradus diode-laser modules are compatible with USB and RS-232 interfaces and offer alignment and pointing stability for demanding tasks in medical diagnostics, flow cytometry, defect analysis and other laboratory applications. Vortran's Stradus 488nm diode-laser module, featuring a 50mW output, is designed as an affordable alternative to standard, high-power-output diode-pumped, solid-state (DPSS) lasers. This model features digital modulation up to 200MHz, with analogue modulation at 500KHz.
