Commercial Metals Company (CMC) has invested in a FICEP semi-automatic SCS 100L sawing line. The machine has been installed in the company's warehousing and office facility in Cardiff. FICEP was chosen after CMC purchased two other smaller NC saws purchased from FICEP when the company opened for business in 2008. CMC has decided to use FICEP as its preferred supplier after evaluating many other specialist companies providing sawing solutions.FICEP was chosen after successfully installing two other smaller NC saws purchased from FICEP UK when the company opened in 2008. Stephen Paul, UK operations manager, said: 'CMC UK management decided to purchase the larger saw as a result of FICEP?s huge investment on technology which was clearly demonstrated when visiting their factories in Italy. 'To date, we have received excellent back-up from FICEP, which is also a vital requirement in today?s economy with the ever-increasing demands our customers place upon us.
